Masseria Casiello was built in early 1800 and was originally a house used to housing fthe settlers who cultivated the lands around and they occupied the first floor of the farmhouse, while the ground floor was arranged for feeding the cows and buffaloes. The barn in front of the farmhouse has been fully preserved, the support beams of coverage were hung and dried leaves of tobacco, one of the main crops of the surrounding land, along with corn and maize, in a corner of the barn was linked by a bull mount that was also used by other breeders to increase their herds.
The old barnyard, yet kept with the beat of lapillo's rock and lime used for threshing corn, which effectively was promoted by a special ventilation of the area, due in the morning  by breezes of the nearby mountain Roccamonfina and in the afternoon by the sea breezes from the close Gaeta's gulf.
After a long period of neglect, from '50s to '90s, the Masseria Casiello rose owned and has been skillfully restored, retaining where possible the architectural features of the old plant building.
